Installation instructions.
---------------------------

1. Install (extract) into the MTW2 directory

example- C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War

2. doubleclick the file LauncherReg.reg ( this only adds the reg entries needed for the Launcher , should be inside MTW2 folder )

3. To start game Use standard launcher or MTW2 shortcut , select play and chose Regions&Provinces Mod

You use the standard Launcher.exe shortcut not the MTW2 shortcut to start the game , I have a shortcut on my desktop so I was mistaken.
You can find this in the MTW2 folder just make a desktop shortcut from it if needed.
I will post some more screens soon,,
As for the mod , the next version 2.5 will hopefully be the final version
I have hit the MAX limit allowed for custom units so it does not look like I can add the Kiev Rus faction I planned . All missing descriptions and any rebel skins will be fixed , also will spend time balancing out the factions as much as possible for final version , so any comments regarding balance issues you can post in forum thread , it will be a big help

thanks

Installation instructions.

1. Install (extract) into the MTW2 directory

example- C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War

2. doubleclick the file LauncherReg.reg ( this only adds the reg entries needed for the Launcher , should be inside MTW2 folder )
Click 'yes' when asked if you want to add the information to the registry

3. To start game Use standard Launcher.exe (located in MTW2 folder , it uses same icon as MTW2 shortcut) , select play and chose Regions&Provinces Mod

This is better instructions , follow correctly and it will work

if you installed MTW2 to default location , you can access the Launcher like this
Hold down the WINDOWS key + R or START , Run
and type this in the Run box
"C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\Launcher.exe"
click ok.

1st of all: great mod, as always, sb2ean.
Only problem: in my installations some "old" factions aren`t playable, just as novgorod or my old axe-wielding darlings, the danes. It all starts nicely, but when i try to choose a unit or character, i`m having a ctd, so i guess it`s a sound problem which can easily be solved by copying a folder somewhere else, but i havent found out which one so far. I´ve got a german installation, already working with the modswitch files. Help, please, or there will be nothing foul in the state of denmark again.

Would it be possible for someone to post screenshots of the new factions?

Thanks.

I downloaded and installed the mod fine(looks great by the way)but for some reason when I run it from the launcher it starts up and then the screen blacks out and there is a pop up that says M2TW has encountered an error and will now close....what must I do to get around this and has it happened to anyone else???

Hello, great mod btw, had som god fun with the swedish faction. The only problem is that i think that it's to easy,so my question is if there's any chance to combine this mod with other mod's, like "Road to Jerusalem"?

Just a note to let you know that the reason the space was called Jeddah rather than Medina is that Jeddah is the port for Mecca and Medina.

Some of your unique units have a metallic look that reminds me of the T2 from terminator and they have no colors but silver.
