    This is a good suggestion imo. I think the SSHIP mod for M2TW has a similar mechanic. Each faction has certain regions which are historically 'theirs'

    In my experience the AI needs those armies, particularly as they tend to be like the one you have highlighted - a lot of levy spears, swords and archers
