I'd ignored it for as long as I could.

I'm suspicious of opening apps that someone else has shoved onto my phone. Especially if they tell me how I'm living my life and suggest ways I could be living it better.

They were, after all, created by people who may merely be sanctimonious tech types with a tawdry life of their own. And I'm not specifically referring to anyone who works for Apple.

Recently, though, I succumbed. I opened the Apple Health ...

Some years ago I had to travel a lot in the line of duty and often found myself in airport lounges whiling the time away between connecting flights. Being a charming conversationalist I did have my fair share of scintillating discussions with the fairer sex in those lounges and I still remember the following discussion as if it was yesterday:

  4. A Commodian Wit - The Insidious Apathy

    Yes, Apathy.

A personal addendum to Flinn's less word soupy and more understandable read The power of fear..., this is my response in blog form to introduce the concept and its effects upon society in all things, and why people should care about it.

Apathy is a much less renowned beast than Fear. It is harder to pin down and blame. Fear has a generally clear source, or perhaps a mystery of a source, and clear victims who may work through it or shrivel on sight. It can be ...
  5. The art of Blog

Do you guys ever look at the bleeping pixels your screen produce as that tine black stripe goes on and off and on and off while you've selected the text field but haven't typed yet? I'm rather interested in how you guys blog. I have to admit, I had some work stored to blog but eventually made new material. I blog the easiest when I'm wind down, which admittedly doesn't happen a lot anymore lately.

So how do you do it? Whats your trick to get writing?
