    While on a road trip to visit our adorable grand children, my wife and I stopped at a roadside restaurant for lunch.

    After finishing our meal, we left the restaurant, and resumed our trip.

    When leaving, my wife unknowingly left her glasses on the table, and she didn't miss them until we had been driving about forty minutes.

    It's not exactly a new principle, but in the last years it has started to overshadow reason and it certainly didn't leave out the gaming industry as this article by Cnet illustrates.

  3. Shopping with my beloved Wife

    After I retired, my wife insisted that I accompany her on her trips to Wal-Mart. Unfortunately, like most men, I found shopping boring and preferred to get in and get out.
    Equally unfortunate, my wife is like most women - loves to browse and leaves me with endless time to fulfil.
    Yesterday my dear wife received the following letter, from the local Wal-Mart:

    One day the splendid fruit of my loins decided to bereave me of my inalienable right to spoil my grandchildren and moved his family far away ‘for business purposes’. I give you an idea how far away: there they eat raw fish with sticks. I mean, what’s wrong with fish & chips? Really?

    For a while now members have been asking me what I have been doing in real life and after some careful consideration I have decided to shine a light on that illustrious and elusive part of mine.
