I would like to have back the vanilla roman cities look in the strategic map. What have I got to do? Anyone can help?
I do like the Prometeus new roman cities, but I think they are too different from the other cultures cities, in particular they seem much smaller than eastern cities. Thank you |

I completely agree. I still use vanilla strat models. I like the new ones, but seeing one right next to an eastern or barbarian strat model really ruins it.
For 081, I believe the installer saved over the vanilla files. There may have been a backup somewhere, automatically made, I don't know. What I did was copy the "...\Rome - Total War\data\models_strat\residences\" folder (vanilla data folder, not EB\Data folder) before I installed EB. Then after the install I renamed the original and named the copy "residences" so that it would have the vanilla ones. |
