NIKO_TWOW.RU is an amazing programmer from Russia. While his English isn't that good he definately knows how to mod. Niko refers to his mod as the 'hardgame' mod as it is designed the make MTW2 more difficult for the human player.
http://www.twcenter.net/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=1037 The Hardgame mod uses a clever campaign garrison script that activates militia based on the building level of the walls. Each faction has a homeland area that will spawn militia if that area is under that faction's control. For example: If the Byzantines control Constantinople and it becomes sieged, the garrision script will activate and some additional units become available. The cost of these units are deducted from the faction treasury. If Hungary conquers Constantinople, the garrison script will not be actived for the Hungarians. This works for both AI and Human! There are some other nice tweaks in the Mod. Check the Mod out and leave your comments in this thread!
