The EB Unofficial Late Period project - attempting to recreate the historical situation at 107BC just after the Marian reforms have taken place.

This is a publicly developed mod - that means there are no team members; anyone can contribute, anyone can send in updated code for compilation.

An 'internal' alpha version (0.1) has been released to give others a base to edit their code from - this is not intended to be playable - however with the exception of a couple of regular CTD errors yet to be tracked down appears to be largely stable.

It appears as a provincial campaign, allowing you to keep your regular version of EB 0.74 at the same time.

Dude! Maybe you could add the ability to convert to Christianity after 100 AD or something? If you could pull off that long of a time frame. Of course it would be SERIOSULY epic if you took what EB has and made a mod from say 100bc-400ad or something and allow for conversion around 300 or something. Anyway, I just would like to see a Christian element added to the game. lol

I am afraid that this project has been dead since the release of EB0.8, which is a pity. However, even if it was still active, what you are asking requires an awful lot of work. So many factions and units have to be added to extend the game to 400 AD. Not to mention that the standard R:TW engine does not even allow religions: you need to use the BI expansion for that.

. I just wish EB would team up with IB so that IB could have a better late antiquity mod...

?
hey guys what about something like 272 bc (regular) 220 bc (punic wars), epiros eliminated and a 100 bc ( soci wars?) with carthage as numidia?, epiros defeated, no saleucid, etc, i believe that no mayor changes need to be done, same map same factions just a little bit of scripting.
I dont have mayor mod experience but ive moded edu, edb, models battle etc, so i could easily get rid of the old units, bur i have zero experience regarding how to create alternative campaings, or set the starting factions etc.
