Simplified Victory Conditions
aka S.V.C.
This submod changes the victory conditions to a simple "Expand to XX regions" voiding the need to conquer specific settlements. This is especially useful for migration campaigns are any other scenario in which you want to deviate from the normal path and still see that glorious victory screen
These combinations are available:
- "Expand to 50 regions" for the long campaign rules and "Expand to 25 regions" for the short campaign rules.
- "Expand to 100 regions" for the long campaign rules and "Expand to 75 regions" for the short campaign rules.
- "Expand to 150 regions" for the long campaign rules and "Expand to 125 regions" for the short campaign rules.
- "Expand to 199 regions" for the long campaign rules and "Expand to 175 regions" for the short campaign rules.
The last option with 199 region basicly disables victory conditions as the maximum of regions besides the sea is 199.
Installation:
Installation is pretty straightforward:
Download the attached file and extract it on your desktop
- Move the extracted data folder into Medieval II Total War\mods\SS6.4
- Confirm that you want to merge folders (don't worry, nothing gets replaced)
- Run Medieval II Total War\mods\SS6.4\SS_setup.exe
- Select your era of choice, one of the Simplified Victory Conditions variants (mutually exclusive) and any other submod you wish to use with it.
Note: You will need to start a new campaign in order for this to work
Compatibility:
Standard (vanilla) 6.4 (and the versions above) and early / late campaigns. Should work with 6.3 as well but this is untested as of yet.
If your ss_setup generates errors report your submod config here. Then simply rerun ss_setup without selecting this submod and wait for the fix
