ANOTHER RTW Expansion Announced!

Yes, you heard me, there's another RTW expansion in development, according to a preview in this months PC Gamer UK, based on Alexanders conquests...I'll post more details after breakfast .

Not sure about a link yet...here's some details:

• Historical battles, and lots of them, illustrating Alexanders major battles.
• A campaign with the "Race to re-live Alexanders mercurial career, crossing the new map from Greece to the Himalayas".
• Released Next Month (March)
• DOWNLOAD ONLY. It's an "experiament" by CA.
• The Indian Elephant riders have a moustache that looks like they've been given a chelsea smile.
• Best bit. It's got Brian Blessed doing to voice overs YAY!.

OK, it's not going to be a major addon, but it should provide a nice slice of TW pie before MTW2.

I can't find a link at the moment.

Apparently it's going to be "historically accurate" too...we shall see.

PCG reckon this could see CA trying their hand at the episodic content fad too. I'd say it's a fair prediction.

I'm guessing that PCG used their links with one of the CA team managed to get some kind of exclusivity on the announcment, like they did with the BI demo. I'm a subscriber to the mag, so I presume an annoucment from CA via the net will arrive on the day that the mag is released in shops. (Thursday I believe..maybe Wednesday)

Apart from the things I've listed in my first post, and two screens, one of some Companion cavalry getting hammered by the chelsea smile donning elephant men, and another small one, of what looks like Hypaspistai, elephants and companion cavalry.

I imagine it will be similar to the Battlefield2 Expansion in terms of downloading, but hopefully they'll have a multitude of different payment methods, not just the usual CCs

thats welcome news. I suppose the normal CA are not doing anything (its the aussie CA making M2TW remember) so making a booster pack for Rome to keep us going till M2TW is released is a great idea.
