Well the graphics do look excellent, and the announced features sound nice, but didn't we all have this when Rome was first announced. We don't know anything about how good the game will really be right now (AI and balancing for example, we also don't know how well the new features will be implemented), so I for one am going to be reserving any judgement.

yes the assain movies are back. and blood lovely blood this will be the best total war yet
 keep up the work CA  and a new total warrior would make me a very happy person and this time i want blood splatters

Well, from that article it sounds like they did a lot of work on the battle engine....and thats about it. 250 units across 21 factions doesnt sound like much variety...and they havent revealed anything interesting about the campaign game, except some new territories, what about some new mechanics?
But I have to say, what they described about the ingame battle graphics and mechanics sounded wonderful...finally realistic individuals on the field instead of weird Star Wars style clones.
