Arthurian : Total War is a mod project based on Barbarian Invasions xpack.
Action will take place during Britain dark ages, in Britain, Ireland and Northern Gaul, from 481 AD to 685 AD. Our development board : http://s10.invisionfree.com/Imperium_Total_War/index.php?showforum=44 Featured region :  For this time I have choosed those factions : - 11 Britons factions : Dyfneint (known as Dumnonia), Dyfed, Gwent, Powys, Llydaw (Brittany), Gwynedd, Rheged, Ebrauc, Elmet, Gododdin, Alcluyd, Ynis Manaw. - 3 Irish factions, Dal Riada, Mumainha and the Ui Neill - the Picts - 3 Anglo-Saxons factions : Saxons, Angles and Juts. - the Franks Another map I have made (continental provinces not showned) :  COMPLETE PROVINCES LIST Britons will have very good units and an extended territory but will have to fight on every fronts : rebels kingdoms, Scots of Dal Riada, Picts, Angles, and Saxons. If you choose Dyfneint, you can own Arthur at the beginning of the game (there is no complete historical evidence but Arthur may have be from Domnonia/Dyfneint, and became Amherawdyr 'Imperator' of Britain, or High-King, a successor of the romans governors). The north Britons will got strong warlords like Urien Rheged, Rydderch Hael of Strathclyde, or Maelgwn Gwynned. But Saxons will have Cerdic or Aelle and Dal Riadans Aedan mac Gabran, etc... So Britons will have strong cavalry, romans-like soldiers, and 'Clan Warriors'. Germans will got a powerful infantry. Picts will got terribles warriors, with not a good defense but very strong attack, and will be experts at ambush. Irish will be very exotics, fighting in their way of war, the 'old style'. Not really...
1) This mod uses a highly detailed map of Britian, that has huge advantages over a map that covers a larger region and 2) different time frame We may be able to cooperate on some units, but not much beyond that. There is 19 provinces in Gaul, including Armorica. Gaul isn't as detailed as Britain - and only a little part of it is on the map, to mainly focus on the conflict between Bretons and Franks :laughing:
For a release date... mmm... I hope a first release at the beginning of Summer

Hey i was wondering if ATW is for BI 1.6 or not?just wondering cause i bought the Total War Eras boxset an it has RTW Gold on it which is already patched to to BI 1.6
