Historical Battles(Q's,A's and input)

This topic will cover just what the title says ...anything to do with the historical battles...
So if you have a questions or input plz share.Most of the time this topic will be for covering the battle maps and troops types and numbers for the historical battle set for MA.

Also will post a Battle a month for general disscusion.I'll post a paragraph or two about the battle and then feel free to post your veiws or share something you know about the battle.



I've uploaded 3 battles to RTW Heaven (1 is a Granicus beta and the other 2 are beta versions of Issus(Reworked MAP) ,1 is single or multiplayer with 2 persian and 1 Macedonian army(this is for those Macedonain commanders that dont like to depened on AI allies) and the other has 2 persian and 2 macedonian armies( this one comes closest to the "accepted" OOB.Have fun and let me know what u think.

The Pinarus river bed was painted with swamp but a few spots with mud and I tried to keep Persian side of river a little higher than the Mac. side .I did this to make the crossing as difficult as possible.The map I used for reference shows about 14-16 hundred yrds, from river mouth upstream that is considered crossable(in military terms) and also the ford about 2500 yrds upstream( U know ,the one Darius guarded with about 400 skirmishers and Archers?)

Remember these are for RTR 6.0 and up
