New Unit Preview: Miskito--The Western Way

And we’re back—this time to preview the last two units of the Miskito roster, along with a bunch of info cards that have been made for the Miskito over the last month. Here you have the Miskito gunners, the first gunpowder troops available to the Miskito should they succeed in establishing trade with the Europeans.

Carrying primitive matchlocks and the traditional macana club for hand-to-hand combat, these men are a potent force that should never be underestimated.



And here are the Miskito seafarers, men who have served on the ships of English privateers and returned to the jungle to fight for their people. Some of the finest warriors available to the Miskito, these men are armed with high-quality muskets and steel cutlasses acquired through trade with the English.


Here they are shown, charging into their enemies with cutlasses drawn.



And here are the rest of the unit cards we’ve been working on for the Miskito units previewed last time around.

Looking at the in game shots of the new units, I see I still need to do some adjustments on my models, the groups are pushing through each other in a couple places. Definitely need some refining.

We have not yet adjusted any of the unit stats, just working on cranking out the models. Our leader Theodotos I think will soon take on the EDU file, and the modelsdb action. We have primarily been concerned with putting together the faction unit rosters first.
