Since the version change of Empire makes so many changes you will want to start completely fresh!

Remove all old APE: TI files, verify the local game cache, then start a game to make sure vanilla works!

Expect the links for the installer shortly!

Played a few turns with Maratha and out of time for the night, however something odd happened.

This is probably CA 1.4 would be my guess, however Mysore has just sued for peace after I took the former Portugal territory they had recently conquered. Diplomacy has recently been going rather well til this little oddity.

Terms were that I paid them 890,000 - they offered to become a protectorate along with mutual peace of course. I was only lacking around 889,925 gold for this.

Hah! They value their friendship, eh?

You are correct, it is most likely due to E:TW v1.4. Keep an eye on stuff like that and let us know any more details you come across.

There are a couple of bugs noticed;

Unit sizes and turns per year are vanilla -- my fault! We will release a patch for the startpos.esf soon!

You can use the Turn Editor to change your savegame to start in winter with 3 turns per year.

Your game may load but not only will you be missing a lot of the new changes CA made to the AI and such but there is no telling what all could be working improperly.

Always best to start fresh!

Awesome, time to play!!!.

With the new campaign AI and this mod, its time to loose many hours of game time with ETW.

Have the sound files change a lot? I noticed marching tunes in battle again (which I'll be removing), and I noticed a lot of groans and gurgles when soldiers die. I thought the sound mod that increases the vocalisations in battle might be included now.

There are 4 marching tunes added -- they are in the gaphics pack because it was already huge.

Alpaca removed the warpath music but beyond that and the marching tunes there were no other changes made to sound.
