Content Overview

Prelude Chapter ~ Rivalries

Only an introductory chapter, it serves only to inform you, the reader, of what you can expect from this AAR.
Revolves around two merchants and their rivalries, but also their mutual interests. No battles, real in-game screenshots yet, as it is only the prelude.

Prelude Chapter II ~ Fighting For What You Believe In

Written long ago when 'In Hoc Signo Vinces' wasn't an idea at all, it revolves around King Baldwin and his son, Prince Fulkes. They are the defenders of Jerusalem which is under siege by a Jihadist Ma'mar al-Jurayri. I thought it would be a nice addition to add more background on the campaign, but I'll let you be the judge of that.

Other information about the campaign

1229 AD (turn 87)
1278 AD (turn 120)
1368 AD (turn 180)

Campaign Settings

Mod: Stainless Steel 6 with the RR/RC submod, Early Era
Faction: The Crusader States
Campaign Difficulty / Battle Difficulty: Hard / Hard
Unit Size: Normal
Cheating: No toggle_fow(maybe at the end of the AAR), no reloads, no cheating what-so-ever... Unless taking a break from it from time to time is cheating
Description: The Crusaders' conquest of Great Britain, along with many other details from the campaign, but it will only revolve around the British Isles...

Progress Overview

Title: 0% (TBA)
Timespan: 1407AD - ~1411AD
Campaign: 100%
Pictures (content): ~90%
Pictures (edited): 20%
Text: ~50% (2,241 words)
General idea: Varies

I decided to include a progress overview which I will update once I do some work on the AAR. I know I promised an update for the past weekend but have only managed to get some pictures and play 2 turns... And on top of that I have to liberate Alexandria from the Sicilians. A brilliant game, ain't it?

If you'd like another fact field for this category which I skipped(wouldn't be surprised if I have) just let me know.

Spoiler for Boring text from before I started writing the real thing
So, to start off, I've never written an AAR before, but read a lot of them so far; and the only thing from stopping me write my own was that I never had anything interesting to write about.

And now, far off into my campaign which I'm meaning to use for my AAR, I think I got an interesting battle in front of me, and was wondering if it's permitted to write an AAR about a certain part in a campaign rather than from the beginning of the same?

If it is, you can expect the first part, 'Introduction', in the coming days.
