Hey all, I have made a little mod for Empire that fixes something that bugged me...The radar icons or "pips" were very difficult to read in vanilla. They tried to make them too detailed for the tiny size that they were, so here I have simplified the shapes, so it's easier to see.
Only changes the land battle pips. Tested at 1280x960 To install: 1. Copy the pipmod-patch.pack to your data directory. 2. Take over the world! EDIT: I changed the cavalry pips from triangles to circles, because it looked inconsistant with both your and your enemy's triangles facing up.  EDIT: Changed the artillery pips from + to T signs, so that you can tell which way they are pointing. New version uploaded, which also includes the triangle cavalry as an option. EDIT: There is now a V instead of the little camera thing.

It is a nice idea but i'm okay with the originals!!!

Any chance for you to release it in a patch pack file like other mods? That way we don't have to unpack anything.

Well done. I don't mind the originals (though they took me a bit at first to actualy make out what they were). As was stated above though I'm sure many people will find this quite useful.

I hope you don't mind waronmars, I packed your great mod so others can use it easily without having to unpack first. Just unzip the attached .pack file to the data folder and play.
EDIT: I see you have now made your own packed version so now there is no need for mine here - attachment removed. BTW my repacked version had the older triangles for cavalry (which I actually preferred over your circles - so if anyone wants the triangles again I'll put it back up or maybe you can give people a choice).
