"Hannibal ante portas!" - An RTR Team literary project

A number of people more or less closely connected with the development of Rome Total Realism and its ongoing mini-campaign, “Fate of Empires”, have decided to add another dimension to the experience of fans. Thus was born "Hannibal ante portas!", a collection of short stories, each encapsulating a decisive moment of the Hannibalic War. The battle of Cannae, the rebirth of the Roman army in Sicily under Scipio and its initial successes in Africa, Hannibal’s abandonment of Italy and the final battle of Zama are all narrated from the perspective of eye witnesses, be they generals or simple soldiers.
