Viking Invasion II (BI) Viking Invasion II aims to recreate the campaign of the cult-status MTW: Viking Invasion on the Rome BI engine. It sticks closely to the original campaign, only making changes to correct large inaccuracies, to improve gameplay and comply with the new engine. Great pics

Still you have not changed the bright-white-washed capes of the Viking elite unit? Why not skinning/toning it down to a slight more realistic texture-appearence?

Those were toned down some patches ago, do they need more toning down? I'm not sure I know how to make it look better to be honest. I'm more of a texture editor than skinner

Well, if i see the said pic/post i think the cape looks strange bright to me, perhaps it is only me? I guess the rather non-existing muster on the cape hinders a different darker look ... texture too even? ... needs a little skinning on the texture-map, i think.

Maybe that's snow?

I will put them on the list, but that doesn't mean it will be done

It could ruin his studies, destroy his family, ruin his job...

And that's just playing as the Welsh!

You have no idea how much I really want to, but I am waiting until I build a new computer.

nVidia GTX275, a terrabyte hard drive, I plan on downloading quite a few mods, Roma Serectum, A: TW, VI2: TW, some Medieval 2 mods, I definitely plan on playing VLL when it's done--it's always nice to enjoy something you put time into.

It seems your saxons need to bathe more often. The swineflue seems to have southeastern england in a firm grip.

Aradan has read the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle...
...and me too...just for fun...a couple of years ago...
...it's great that you have integrated these historical events like the plague in Wessex etc.!

We wanted to add more, but disasters don't quite work in RTW and we had to drop some... Silly RTW.
