OFFCIAL TW survey,

CA are holding a survey, I suggest as many people answer it as possible, It also sugests that the 5 main contesters for next TW game are:

Rome
WWI
Classical Greece
Imperial China and Federal Japan
19th century

The survey also has question on feature such as most important thing in a TW game, and downloadable games, and expansions. I highly recomend answering it.

EDIT There is potential for a poll on this thread, but to do accurately it would require 5 separate polls just for the big question of next TW game, and that would be compleatly ignoring the many other question the Survey asks. Hopefully CA will release the information publicly so we will be able to see the the results that way. If anyone has a sensible method for adding a poll in the thread, PM me.

I really want WWI. The only reason there were no tactics employed was because of the stubborness of the Generals of the day. And, it would have the king of all strat maps, and c'mon thats the meat of TW.

And, WWI naval battles! Jutland! We may never have to engage with trenches, and we could have turns of maybe a week, then we;d have a 400 turn campaign! Please join me in this holy quest!

nah.. WWI dosnt fit the TW series in my eyes... im going for classical greece

Rome should be good, but I think they should go with Classical Greece or Imperial China+Federal Japan.

there aren't really other questions.. it's all what we like best and what we would see improved.. i think they use all the answers to decide wich of the time periods they're gonna choose

Wanna definitely see Imperial China+Japan as the next game, cause imo ETW expansions most likely will be Napoleonic Wars, American Civil War or Colonization anyway

WW1 don't seem right at first glance, but if CA could pull it off with reasonable enough campaign map (especially), air (new stuff in TW) and sizes of battles, it would be great

Most important areas in TW for me: AI and gameplay depth.
Want to be most improved: again AI, gameplay and historical accuracy

I selected WW1 as the 1st and Imperial China & Japan as 2nd
Why I choose WW1 is because there aren't good ww1 games at all.
WW1 TW would be so awesome.

I think Japan would be a very interesting choice. That or Rome would be the best IMO.

At the same time I really want to see a WW1 game be created and I would love to see how CA would do with aviation.
