Greetings!
As of yesterday, I've been busy with a little something I've been calling The Great Faction Swap! This is how it works. I take some factions, and relocate them to another place on the map. Current list of things is: Koinon Hellenon - Basileion tes Bosphorou (the Kingdom of the Bosphorus) Epeiros/Baktria - Pergamon Saba'en - Meroë / Numidia Arverni/Aedui - Thraikia Arverni/Aedui - Galatia Casse - Belgae My plans for these factions are: New faction icons Reworked family tree and family members New victory conditions Changed recruitment New traits I've worked mostly on the Bosphoreans now, and here's a little something to give you an impression. Spoiler Alert, click show to read: Until now, it's been myself only that has been working on this project, but if anyone wants to help out (also by playtesting, this is very important.)
"Monks, the All is aflame. What All is aflame? The eye is aflame. Forms are aflame. Consciousness at the eye is aflame. Contact at the eye is aflame. And whatever -- experienced as pleasure, pain or neither-pleasure-nor-pain -- that too is aflame. Aflame with what? Aflame with the fire of passion, the fire of aversion, the fire of delusion.."

Interesting project. Good luck to you.
One comment: Bosphoria would probably only consist on Pantikapaion in 272BC. |

It would? Okay, then I'll have to edit that.

Sounds cool! I would use it.
![]() The Last Roman Mod of the week on hold -- I've played nearly every RTW mod out there. BOYCOTT THE USE OF SMILEYS! Antiochos VII...last true scion of the Seleucid dynasty...rest in peace, son of Hellas. Please forgive me for not fulfilling my TWC responsibilities to the fullest -- I'm utterly swamped by RL at the moment. |

Also, the Bosphoran Kingdom can be named just plain Basileion Bosphorou. The ''tes'' isn't needed.

Cool, I had to put up with Aiakides and other Epirote names for a bit in my game, before they all died out. Killing off Helenos and Pyrrhicos before they spawned any offspring helped kill off the original family line, though.
Has Philetairos got a eunuch-related trait?
It began on seven hills - a historical house-ruled Romani AAR
Heirs to Lysimachos - a semi-historical Epeiros-as-Pergamon AAR Philetairos' Gift - a second attempt at an Epeiros-as-Pergamon AAR |

awesome very awesome, how is this going to be implemented? One mod for all of them or smaller patches for each new faction/faction swap? I think the latter would work out better, as people would be able to mix and match swapped factions. It would definitely bring new life to my EB games. Good luck
Also it seems someone else is also looking into this, check http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=174906, you two might be able to work together Last edited by Javierfv1212; July 23, 2008 at 03:24 PM. |

For Pergamon, you could change the faction symbol to something relating Ascpleios, probably the staff with the snake coiled around it.

I don't think it would be too hard to change the faction symbol, maybe i'll ask over at the workshop. What do you of this?
![]() Its a cista mystica, which holds the asclepian snakes, even though it comes from a later roman coin i think it would be fine. Probably the most famed symbol of Pegamon. Im not too good at photoshop but i thought id give it a try. Also I'd be willing to test your mod if needed. Last edited by Javierfv1212; July 24, 2008 at 08:48 AM. |

That looks very cool. I'll probably add it.
