The present patch contains the surviving Res Gestae units that have not been previously released. I have implemented them in the text files and have also made sprites for them. The units will be available both in custom battles and in campaign. The patch does not change the map or faction banners/symbols as those were no longer available. Also, whatever was already in the previous release in terms of graphics is still there as it was. This pack only adds new units and nothing more and comes as a separate release.
EDIT: the grass add-on that Prometheus has released separately has been added to this patch.

LIMITATIONS:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

- due to the fact that India does not appear on the default RTW map, the Mauryans have not been implemented as a faction. Instead, the indian units will be available in custom battle for the seleucids and they will also be recruitable by them in the campaign(only from Media and Elymais). The mauryan generals are not enabled. They are in descr_model_battles and the graphic files are in their places, but they have not replaced any other general in descr_character as the Mauryans do not have their own faction.
- while the names, descriptions and unit stats have been altered to some extent so that they make sense, they are not final. The stats might need some adjustments to balance the units better. The names and descriptions would also(idealy) need enhancement. The recruitment of the units might also need some adjusting for balancing purposes.
- an area of recruitment system has not been fully implemented. Apart from the mauryans there are a few other units that are only recruitable from certain regions(like the athenian hoplites from Athens), but nothing more.
- there are still vanilla RTW units in there as there were not enough surviving Res Gestae units to replace them all.
- some models/textures might have slight issues like small alpha problems and such. They might be corrected in a future patch as long as help is found.(no corrections to the models have been included in this release)
- due to the limited number of entries available in DMB a couple new mounts have not been implemented and some units that were previously sharing a model and the DMB entry will now have to use the same texture too(for example, the parthian and armenian cataphracts are now looking the same). To free more space some of the old vanilla units would need to be removed, but that requires some serious consideration and will be left for a possible future release.
- some new units might lack voices if you click on them in battle. The previous Res Gestae release did not contain the necessary modded files either. Implementing each and every unit(and the mounts) in the text files for the sounds will be left for a possible future release.

INSTALLATION:

1. install Res_Gestae_1_Final (or RES GESTAE pack I: "Promethean Legions" as it was also known)
2. install ResGestae-PrometheanLegio5 patch
3. install Res_Gestae_v2.0 patch *
http://rapidshare.com/files/79937712/Res_Gestae_v2.0.rar.html

*a) decompress the archieve
*b) open the extracted pack and copy the content(not the folder itself) of "Res Gestae v2.0" inside the Rome Total War folder where you have installed Res Gestae. You will be asked if you want to overwrite the existing files. Say yes. It is important that the "data" folder from the mod will overwrite the one in your game.
*c) run the campaign_map_reset batch file that is in your main game folder. It will delete the map.rwm file. This is needed so that the game can regenerate it based on the new informations the next time you start it. If you don`t do this, the game will CTD when starting a new campaign.

NOTE: before you start installing the mod start the game and make sure it is v1.5(go to OPTIONS and see that in the upper rigth corner it says ver1.5) and that it functions well. After that, if you have space, make a backup of the game`s folder so that if something goes wrong during the installation you`ll be able to revert the changes without reinstalling the game itself.

CREDITS:

Credits go to Prometheus and the Res Gestae team.

I would also like to thank:

Uranos - special thanks for making the great ui cards that the units were previously lacking. Also, big thanks for his crucial help in salvaging the campaign map that will feature in the next release.
Dav the Hun - for giving me the units he had.
Isnogood - for giving me the files he had and some ui cards he made.
Prof - for giving me the units he still had.
Pinarius - for his horses. Afaik Prom had permission to use them and Pinarius has been credited in the previous releases, but I think giving credits again is a proper thing to do.
Marcus Camillus - for his campaign_map_reset batch file that is used here with his permission.
morfeasnikos - for the models that he has corrected (which will be part of the next release).
