Wanted: realistic Migration Era mod

Hello everyone,

I got RTW Gold only last week, and was immediately turned off by those ahistorical units (roman ninjas, my a...). I found a remedy for that in the form of the R:TR mod (I only found out about EB today, so don't stone me ), which I am playing now.
After reading a bit about it on the EB website, I guess I'm going to install that once I'm through with RTR.

That's all very nice, but my favourite historical period is actually the migration era. So I'd love to take part in that, but as far as I see, all realism mods are focused on the period 280BC-1AD or so.

So, to sum it up in one question: is there a mod for, say 300-600AD or something like that?

Since you have RTW Gold, you have the Barbarian Invasion Addon included, which covers your area of interest. I suggest you go over to the 'Barbarian Invasion Hosted Modifications' section just around the corner and read a bit and try some.
I can recommend Invasio Barbarorum, but that's the only BI-Mod I ever played, there surely are many many more around.

Aaah yes, thanks for that, I wasn't aware of a special section for BI mods. Actually BI was the main reason why I bought the game (that, and it only cost 8 Euros), so I hope I'll find something there.
