For some reason I can't see an original post......but yeah I'd buy it to check it out. But if it was too similar to M2TW I wouldn't play it. It would gather dust on the shelves and be there for my kids if and when they wanted it.
EDIT: Golly gosh
To my friends: moving residence, won't have internet for some months....see you when I return to the E-world! Take care in the meantime all

I'd buy it, but only if it had different victory conditions. I'm tired of the 50 province land-grab. I've been playing some short campaigns and I have to say, I find them far more exciting, having to defend quite a lot and fighting a more localised war, as opposed to fighting all over the world. They didn't really do that in Medieval times, did they? The global domination theme belongs more in Roman times, so if they can come up with something other than a 50 province land-grab, I'd be interested.
Kingdoms looks very interesting to me!
