Thread: Zoom in and out using keyboard shortcut

Default Zoom in and out using keyboard shortcut

Hey, I was wondering how to zoom in and out during the battle map using the keyboard. I know that its normally done using a mouse through the scroll feature. But I don't play using a regular mouse. I use the laptop mouse pad. So I was hoping somebody could tell me. All I could find was how to zoom in to a certain unit, or the generals unit.

You turn Num Lock on, then use the + and - of the number pad to zoom in and out respectively.

I can't seem to find the num lock key on my laptop. It's a Toshiba T2050 if that helps. Also, is it possible to redefine the key to something easier?
Sorry if these are really newbie-like questions. :S

There is no num lock on a laptop... You would need a numpad. Just use the + and - buttons beside the number line (2nd line down from top).

Never mind. I couldn't get the + and - keys to work either. But I managed to find the key on the configuration within the game options and change it to something else. Still, thanks for the help.

Wrong, i'm using a laptop and i can activate the numlock by pressing the fn + Ins/Num Lock button. Which means the numlock is activated.
Or to make it easier plug in a keyboard or a numpad indeed.
Or just change the camera movement keys in 'options'.
