As i stated before this is important to all members you MUST remove the faction_table as it is not compatible with the Warpath mod as Warpath uses patch2.pack for the faction_table and this clashes with all mods before and after Patch 1.5!, you dont need the faction_table as the United Provinces are already a faction that show in the Vanilla start of game.
I have the UP latest version mod working 100% with this removed.

indeed, I just had to fix up some of the groupings though to my liking as I wasn't going to have generic company troops, no sir! Although as with my findings, the ai does screwy stuff as the dutch and get confused with the groupings I believe, it's ruined my russian campaign already

Hey, these textures are by far the best ive seen so far, The units look great and so does the general and the officers. I think whoever created this mod should retexture some other factions aswell

Could you please tell me, how to remove the faction_table from the mod-pack? Thank you!

If you try the Imperial Splendour mod, you will see that our work has been integrated correctly.

It's tedious I know but it pays off, been enjoying 70 turns of my dutch campaign in darthmod(course I have to play around with darthmod to get the full edition to work as well but it's all worth it.

Make sure you have the new db editor first as the older ones are quite....unstable

VERY eye pleasing! I must say that after downloading this and playing a campaign with the United Provinces I felt like no other nation can oppose me - because every unit looked special, as if they were all "special units"!

You deserve credit for this fine work, and I hope you will have time in the future to work on other nations too.

Final words: I'm unsure if the Dutch had blacks serving in their armies, but when you hold territory in Africa you have the possibility of recruiting black infantry. Any chance you could work on their uniforms too (at the moment they have the generic vanilla line infantry uniform)?

All I can truly say with regards to compatibility with other mods is the following: try out the various combinations and see which gives the best results. I don't play the game with many mods myself and testing out every single request could get very, very tedious..

Try it out, fiddle with the load sequence and play the game. If it crashes, that's a sure sign it isn't working. If the models or textures are all screwed up, there's a conflict, etc. etc.

I'm pretty sure that if the African infantry you're seeing uses the generic vanilla line infantry uniform, they were recruited before you installed the mod. As far as I know, the Full Edition uses the same texture for the African infantry as the Light Edition, which has a recoloured uniform.

It's a known problem with the game that certain units remain vanilla if they were recruited at the start of a new game or when loading a savegame that was made prior to the install of the mod.

I was playing a fresh from the scrap campaign, so it couldn't have been what you suggested - it was the light edition, however. Could you confirm if the African infantry indeed have the new uniforms in the full edition and light edition?

Both in the Light as well as the Full Edition there's a seperate entry and completely revamped skin named euro_african_infantry_netherlands (with all the corresponding diffuse, normal and gloss map textures). According to Empire: TW's naming conventions, this should retexture the African infantry for the United Provinces in-game.

If it doesn't, I'm not sure why. Do you have any other mods installed that might clash with the UPRP? Also, if you're using the Light Edition in conjunction with a mod that adds units / renames units, that can lead to texture problems.

Call this a foolish question, but how exactly does one get this to work with darthmod? I've played around with the files to the point where there's no longer any conflicts, but it still crashes on startup.

Yeah, deleted it in the mod's .pack file. I even went on to delete the entirety of Darthmod's earlier retexture files in the hope that they wouldn't conflict, but still crashes on load.
