Good sir, you always seem to come out with another mod just as I start playing my games! Last time it was Empires of Destiny and now this! Can't wait to try it out, thank you for all your hard work.

Thank you very much!
Just wish Thor was around, 'tis his hard work as well and he doen't even know it's out.
But I'm sure he'll turn up eventually, he likes this place too much.

Thanks for helping, hip. Well, I've made a clean install because I had NTW 3 installed. After that I did install NTF and NTC. I've chosen for the 40 units option, but didn't change any other options. After that I did chose for Prussia and followed the instructions to save the campaign. When I try to load it though I get a CTD. The same goes for any other campaign I chose. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong. I start Steam, than NTC, than NTF when I begin the game. I do not use any mods.
Re: NAPOLEON: TOTAL COMBAT v4.0 (with up to 40 stack armies!)
Just played it and a couple notes/questions.
When installing, it says you have to put it in your Empire: Total War folder. Apparent mistake as I put it in my Napoleon folder and it works, plus it's for Napoleon.
Minor question but are there any units added? I know vanilla units are all unlocked but any other "new" units included, and if so where?
Re: NAPOLEON: TOTAL COMBAT v4.0 (with up to 40 stack armies!)
Alright with the help of Turkeys! I think we've nailed down some of these "weird" issues:
Common Issue: How to set user permissions on a game folder:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Note:The following examples were done with empire total war but it is done the same way for other TW games.
Also in the example below, 'hip63' is the user name, and 'BEAST' is the computer's name. These names will, of course, be different on your PC.
And if, at anytime, windows asks for permission to do the following steps, tell it allow the changes.
Step 1:
To begin, browse to \Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\ then find the empire total war folder and right click it. Now click "Properties" and then the "Security" tab.
You should see something like this:
If you already see your user name (the name you log onto your computer with) listed here, you can skip to Step 3
If not procced with Step 2
Step 2:
Click the "Edit" button. You should see something like this:
Now click the "Add" button. You should see something like this:
In the area labeled "Enter the object names to select" enter your user name (the name you log onto your computer with) like so:
Then click the "Check Names" button and you should see something like this:
Now click the "OK" button and you should see something like this:
Step 3:
Now we need to edit your permissions to the folder to give your user name full control of the empire total war folder. Make sure that option is checked for your user name.
You should see something like this:
Now click the "Apply" button and the "OK" button.
You should see something like this:
Click the "OK" button. Done
Try reintalling and playing the mod with these changes.
If you are still having issue, please take at look at this tutorial for further troubleshooting steps for permission related issues: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=398731
While it focuses on Medieval 2, it is applicable to all TW games.
Re: NAPOLEON: TOTAL COMBAT v4.0 (with up to 40 stack armies!)
Problem solved thanks to Hip63! This gentleman was kind enough to spend more than an hour to find the problem. It turned out it had nothing to do with this great mod, but with my computer. Thanks again, Hip! You are a prince among men.
