I appear to be unable to complete some caravan escort quests. I deliver the caravan to the proper settlement, but do not get any acknowledgement that the quest is completed. I am running M&B 1.011 enhanced and have patched TLD to v3.01. Any suggestions?

The caravan will follow you, and you need to stand right at the settlement's 'gate'- not going inside, as the caravan will stop, as the time stops also.Originally Posted by Stylix

I think this is harder than the original to play to start off, it's unforgiving (first try i ended up bootless, swordless and on my own on the outskirts of Fangorn with no money) but great fun. Just a thought though, where are the companions? The guys who are your proper core not just some some shmoes (they all have names not just unit descriptions). I haven't found any yet?
Were there but a tree in this godforsaken place i would have hanged myself.

look in the capitals of your side. usualy there is one for faction. gondos has two, although i donŽt know if that applies to any other faction,

Level 29 so far with Rohan, then my savegame got broken.

Right now, I am level 20 with Rohan.
I have a party of 50 Rohirrim.
We have destroyed one uruk hai camp so far. And now we are destroying the large war parties near Isengard.
Once these parties are gone, we only have to destroy four more camps untill we can deal with Saruman himself.
My prestige rank is 11 at the moment.

I guess you don't have a hard time seeing the difference between an orc and a gondorian soldier...

I just managed to sneak to Moria with my dwarven captain, slay some goblins, find book of Mazabrul, and to find my way out. Now im running to Erebor to show my throphy to Dain. I was affraid about my way back, beacuse why I was in Moria I advanced to level 8 and the War started. It was great adventure, goblins hiding in shadows of 21st hall, running throught dark corridors. Epic!

Is anyone else having problems finishing the game? In mine the Rhun have been destroyed and gundabund and moria are down to their capitals, but they're so far away that no one is besieging them/ attacking their parties so that they go down to spent and wavering. Any suggestions?

Please, how did you get out with the book? I found the ruins, got the 'Play Dwarves' book (I am playing as a dwarf), got lost and have searched for a way out without surrendering. I have found the bridge across the chasm after going down the stairs, but wind up in a room with a table. Any help?
