Really hope they take into account some of the suggestions in that long ass horse thread from before wb, regarding control and skilled maneuvers offensive/defensive etc.
I don't know how many of you have seen, played Paradox's very own Crusader Kings II, which will be released next week? The Campaign Map is Awesome!!!
I really believe that's something MB2 can benefit from: being a minor lord with fealty to a higher lord, which in turn serves the king; being summoned for war to gain the neighbouring county and then raising revolt into civil war, that sort of thing, climbing your way all the way to the top (or not).
Also, the diplomacy of CK2 is a tad too complicated and intricate for a game like MB2, which is a fighting-on-horse-or-on-foot RPG, but having a court of several people that can do your dirty work (ruling, that is) while you're happily warring over the land, and marrying your offspring to other noble houses to gain Renown or claims to other lands, etc. would be great.
I don't think that's out of the question, in fact as you advance you could take on more responsibility (less dirty work)
Exactly, the loss of honor and reputation derived form attacking a village should be directly proportional to the place you occupy on the social strata... something that can be either measured by renown or actual social role(commoner, lord, king, bandit etc.), adding a role system would be pretty cool, but it could possibly damage the social mobility that makes this game so enjoyable...

By looking at the wireframe of the body model it seems like they have improved the engine atleast some, though will be exciting to see how much. Looking forward to seeing more
Yeah, and we can now change our character's build, which is great considering everyone's exactly the same in the previous titles.
Also, was that a Race slider?
