Ok, sounds like you are using the advanced options already, great. Now set them all to max and then try setting each in turn to medium to see if there is any difference. Maybe start with 'shadows', it usually has a big impact.

If you're not already using fraps to gauge performance, I suggest you do.

Well your CPU is old, maybe not fast enough to bring out the best in your new card. But I don't yet believe this is the problem, more testing like that described above is needed.

If you hadn't noticed Taiji, I already said, multiple times, with everything at the lowest setting it still lags. Putting them at medium one at a time is going to do what exactly if everything low still lags?

And my cpu is only a year or 2 older than the game and my 3.2 ghz processor is faster than most ive seen.

As for your CPU, a P4 3.2 is old and a GeForce 9500 1gb is new. Either way, like I stated, I don't think bottlenecking is your problem.
