What I find funny is a lot of "historic" Junkies were upset that units like Dragoons couldn't fire on the move, now that they got it, everyone who actually knows something about Mounted Infantry like Dragoons say otherwise.... it was pretty hard to aim and fire something as powerful as a musket on horse back while moving, then trying to reload even when holding still on horse back is much more tedious than on foot despite the shortened barrel. Even during the American Civil War with the advent of Rifled Carbines, they didn't perform like a light armored car going pop pop pop with their guns, in fact even carbines which loaded far faster than any rifled musket used during the war was too slow, and time consuming even during the American Civil War when you were moving on a horse do to the fact you needed both hands.. hense revolvers were very popular amongst cavalry. If Cavalry engaged infantry they many of times would dismount to hold a possition, and again, funtioned in a way "the right way" that Dragoons shoudl function... a ground denier, or delayer. They are not ment to be a deadly field unit, but a unit to get somewhere quick, dismount, and hold as long as possible, great for small battles in your home country, or raiding enemy regions. I kind of wish they would of added some kind of breech loading rifled carbine which should get around 90 range for unique dragoons after rifling upgrade then Dragoons should of gotten a "LIGHT" addition. Yes 90 range still with rifles, carbines are carbines, the shortened barrel didn't mean greater accuracy! lol
All in all the fire while moving thing is what makes me upset with Dragoons the most. I used to use Dragoons a lot on Campaign, I dind't care for any other cavalry unit in my army, they could function as a poor Light Cavalry unit in flank and charging, or I could dismount them and stick them in buildings, or behind walls, delaying enemy armies, or do hit and run, pausing them on horse back, and fire, even with the shoot while move I use Dragoons more often in a hit and run fashion with large volley's just like I did before 1.5, I don't even let them shoot when charging, because I use dragoon regiments in groups of two regiments, if you click charge and they both go in, they will shoot each other...
