So... I want to make a new boat. I open the original .cas file in 3dsmax. After that I delete the vanilla ship model. I place my own model in the scene and I link the ship's model to the root bone. After that I export it and place the files in the proper map with the same name as vanillas. If I load the campaign map the game goes to the loading screen. Fills the loading bar and then doesn't respond anymore. If I do something it crashes.

What is going on here?

Yes I used editeble mesh

did u move your boat in the same position of vanilla one?

I dunno exactly how, but I got it to work. Now another problem occurs. On the campaign map it has the vanilla texture, but I gave it the new texture...?

You have to allocate the texture in descr_model_strat.

I know... But I just replaced the vanilla files. Not made a new one.

are you modding med2tw or kingdoms?


sometimes when it doesn't work you have to put the model_strat folder inside med2tw data folder


it works for me when i have such problem

You need to have the CAS and the texture file in your model_strat folder (sometimes that works)
