Right, first off, well done on the mod, the best I've played

However, I do have a problem. The DoB v1.2 was downloaded, I try to start a new campaign with the East Angles, I get to the loading screen and it doesn't load.

Any way I can remedy this?

What happens, does te mod CTD or does it freeze? We've never had any such problems. Can you load the other factions' campaigns ok?

Tried the other factions with the same result. It doesn't CTD, and on the Task Manager it says its running.

Left if for over half an hour and it still didn't load, custom battles still work, it's just the campaigns.

I think that if it was a problem on our side, others would have reported it as well. Could you please re-download, uninstall and reinstall with the new files (and double check that BI is patched to 1.6 etc) and let us know how it went? Maybe sth got corrupted during download.

Done what you said, but no change, still won't load.

I don't know why this is happening. DoB is just a patch technically, since it only adds files in an already existing folder. Doesn't change the .exe, doesn't create a new modfolder...

Does the mod simply refuse to start at all, or does it CTD on menu/campaign loading?

Make sure the .exe is pointing in the right direction and that you have a backdrop.tga in your bi/vi2/data/menu/textures that reads "DoB 1.0" at the top-right corner.

Also, try installing DoB to a new folder and then cut/paste the "installed" files onto your VI2 installation.

Have you tried using the command -strat:imperial_campaign ?
I may be incorrect in the exact command, but I am sure Aradan could correct me. Also, whilst my memory is hazy on this sub ject, I believe VI2 has it's own installer. Excuse me if I am incorrect, if the installer corrupts during download, or the installer is corrupt, but reconsider re-downloading it. Also, always double-check the installation path, I always got this confused a few months back.

If the mod doesn't start using the existing shortcut (which I don't think is due to an error in the mod or the installer, someone would have reported it already), then -strat:barbarian_invasion (it's a BI mod) won't help much.

Right, I think it has something to do with my BI CD. I'll replace it and see what happens.
