Musket at reenactments will not have much recoil.

A) we don't use full powder charges
B) theres no actual shot, with shot a Musket has alot of recoil as the shot comes flying out.

people are complaining about the unit size, on the preview the unit size may have been on its default setting which is 'normal size' but hopefully then there will be a large and huge

Flashes of the muskets bad.
unit types very bad,clones and uniform antihistorical,football teams.
terrain good.
music bad.
Noises of struggle and weapons good, except that of the muskets is irreal.
Building destruction very bad is a toys lego constructions.
regimental flags,horrible work,irreal and antihistorical.
Soldiers' deaths,good.

Well I noticed framerate issues in the game which isn't good news.
But overall it looks very good.

Some people have argued that the regions were too big. But notice what looks like little settlements besides the main one (actually better visible on the actual screenshot of that part) - I think not all of them may be buildings, but with the growth of the population more settlements pop up and grow. Settlement mechanics are changed, and we hardly know anything about that besides buildings being scattered over the region:


What area is this? South of today's Turkey?


On one of the screenshots we had seen that Spain consists of only one region (or so it seems), but obviously that doesn't mean they are only in possession of one. But we know that already from the minimap screenshot, of course:

Pretty details on that uniform. I ave a feeling that those who still complain about bad battlefield graphics just want to gripe around and bathe in their bad mood :


The best practical thing about flag-bearers is that you can turn off banners without losing track of your own units on the battlefield.

the game looks astonishingly.
amazaing graphics , and it made me feel like i was watching a movie.
well yeah it was a movie about ETW duh !
but i had that feeling that this game is even going to be superior from past games.
one thing is when they are inside taking cover in a house, why is only one guy per window ?
i dont know it could have been 4 or pero window
but it actually looks diferent and better.

o my God it was like watching a real life battle!!!!!!!!!the troops moved like real people, the historical formations was brilliant, and the melle fighting was sure as hell BETTER than medievals!!!!

Not complaining just some comments...

-The silly banners have to go... Lusted stated this is a setting that can be turned off.... Good

-formations were terrible.. I believe Lusted stated at least for the pictures that these formations on screen were for advertising and that the actual in game would be realistic... I still dont know for sure what they will end up being but armies werent all clumped in boxes most of the time in 2-3 rank deep line formations... Hopefully we will get a definite clarificaiton

Nevertheless.. great video..
