I asked 20 questions at the .org along with reading everything onlline about RTW landbridges and got some very wonderful help from Makyane (I hope it's spelled right). I got a landbridge from Italy to Sicily that will work good. I also got one from Spain to Morocco of which gives the northern tip of Morocco to Gadir/Carthage. Nothing major, just noticable. I had to destroy some mountains to make both landbridges passable. If you can live with this, we're on a roll. Now the rest of them.

Could I block these landbridges with fleets?

Right now, I have figured how to make the landbridges but not how to get ships through forsea trade, blockades, etc. Is I can get ships through, you will be able to blockade them.

    Thanks irishron!

BTW, I noticed the port for the city next to the Sicily-Italy landbridge is missing (the white dot)...is that a mistake?

Looks like when the game generated the new corrected_regions.tga, It wiped out the port because of the map_heights.tga. Back to work and upload another one.

    Ohhh....

I also noticed none of the landbridges are working...maybe the two problems are related?

    EDIT: Problem solved!

    Me too.

    Thanks!

I'm adding your fixes in my next update, version3.

I'm also renaming this mod, it's now a mini-mod and no longer a skin pack.

    Indeed!

I've dug back into RTW simply because of this.

That, and the weird problem with MTW2 sort of freezing before battles and stuff. -darn Vista.

Must be Vista, I haven't had one single freeze with M2TW...which is weird, I frequently had random glitches with RTW (and especially with mods installed), but, vanilla M2TW seems completely 100% stable.

    BTW, thanks for the compliments!

I figured it out -- it was me being lazy and trying to do something the game doesn't support. but 'nuff said there.

Say.. you should make yourself a little signature line banner for your own mod now!

I usually do make signature banners for my mods, but, I've been lazy lately and haven't taken the time to do so.

have been going back to rtw with TE and your addon mod, and its simple a joy to play.

And since the ctd have been made, and you have put in the new skins,
by ferres the skins are great.
this is the perfect mod for rome tw (thx)

just one question why have you change the name of the first

cohort, that are available in (damm dont remember the name)
but in the clean version of TE the cohort that iam writing about
is named I,II,III,XV cohort etc, and now its called equetres or something.

is there a easy way too change that ore not.

thank you for making this small but imo, very needed mod togheter

Equites, if they are what you mean, are roman light cavalry and before Marian reforms. All cohort units are after Marian.

Not quite Irishron, I just did a ingame survey and the city iam talking
about is called Ariminum, and the name of the first cohort is Equestris

Just a minor thing that i notised, not a big deal really.

and since you have added the land bridges the AI have been more agressive,
the armenians are making there move frome the east.

this mod is THE mod for rome tw

I just looked in the descr_region.txt and the legion name for Umbria (Ariminum) is Equestris of which would be the name of the first cohort. You are right. Now the second cohort on, I don't know if the name changes or not. I haven't had any cohort units out of Ariminum yet. In my present campaign, Ariminum doesn't have that barracks yet and the Marian reforms have just kicked in.
Thanks for the compliment on the land bridges. Thank Candelarius for suggesting it.

All Standard bearing legions from Arminium would be named Equestris, for example, the first would be Equestris I, and subsequent named legions would be Equestris II, Equestris III, etc.
