Freeze on end turn

Whenever I end a turn, or should I say the first turn, the game will pretty much freeze when it gets to certain factions, depending on the faction I am playing. I can still move the screen around and all but it just stops processing the turn. Any idea what may be wrong? It's a fresh install and all and v1.2 MTW2. Also, how do you know the date? I see no date stamp anywhere..Glitch?

I have no clue. the date does not show up. but it happens the very first turn of the campaign

I was playing custom battle a while ago and noticed that the cannons do not work. I remember reading about them being taken out of the campaign so I am guessing that is the cause of it. If not then that is another problem I have encountered. When I installed the game I just installed the 1.2 patch. Would me not installing the 1.1 patch first then the 1.2 patch have something to do with it?

I tried out vanilla and it did all the same things on it. So it is not RTJ doing it. So disregard this thread.

This is a bug from using a certain no-cd crack. You wont get this issue with the original CD in the drive and without modified exes. My only suggestion to try some other no-cd cracks until you find one that finally works or just use the CD.

your right it just tried now with no cd and its not working properly. you have to use the CD1

Firstly, we shouldn't be talking about stuff like this here, if an Admin or Mod caught this we would all be warned, but I have bought the game but used cracks because I don't want to put a disc in every time I play, but I never had a problem like this....

Maybe you need to try different releases.

Of course you can only use the no cd when you buyed the game.
No one here need the no cd crack or a fake image to play the game, right.
If you have the game its legal anyway
