Thanks very much for the new beta fix.
Forgive me for asking, but will save games from 1.9.9 be compatible?
Sorry, but when the map is modified, the save games won't load anymore.

tornnight sorry man but more bug´s i have tried new camping this time it Portugal:
1-My general are almost impossible to select in the camping map
2-Oporto as a negative growth of the population
3-I cant attack any cite ( THE TARGET POSITION IS INVALID FOR THIS CHARACTER TYPE)

Hmm, that's very odd. I can't reproduce any of those issues.
Just a few questions:
Do you have any other mods installed?
Do you have Patch 1.2 installed?
Did you delete The_Long_Road folder before installing?
Do you have a localized version of MTW2?
Now that I recall, I had an issue with not being able to attack cities a long time ago when I had a corrupt fog image.
Check: The_Long_Road/data/world/maps/base/map_fog.tga
It should be completely white.

Very fast releases, though I strated a campaign in spain empire, and I had a crash to destop next turn, restart and the next turn I got the ugly bad textures everywhere and a crash few time after.
Th city/castle at the north west of spain has a white description( where you see the green,blue faces of happiness) quite too large, it's strange.
I have deleted them, but after this, most of the windows have white blocks on buttons, that blocks anything.I don't know if that had fix the other thing, like it blocks every feature.

Bah, those darn .sd files just won't work right. Odd thing is that it seems fine on my computer.

Are the sd files already built into MTW2 vanilla version? And if not would we need an application extension to read them. I am at work and cannot check right now.
It's a shame you removed the cannon elephants from custom battle, they were a laugh.
I've noticed that (for custom battles) merc elephants are cheaper than faction specific ones.
The Venetian guards have upgraded armour as standard when compared to VHI.
It may be a Vanilla bug (although i thought it was fixed in 1.2) but musketeers won't fire if you tell them who to fire on, if you just leave them alone they will find a target, but other-wise the first line just keep aiming.

alpaca built an sd_converter tool to extract/create them from the vanilla version. You can read about it in the Mod Workshop
The versions the The_Long_Road uses put the new factions on the interface. You can delete them without harm if that's what you're asking.
You can also read them using a Hex viewer if you want to look at them.
Ya, I bet. I never intended for them to be available though.
Hmm. I'll take a look at the merc elephants. I bet the reason is that they are weaker than the faction counterparts.
The Venetian Guards are supposed to be upgraded.
I don't think I did anything to make the musketeers any different. I don't think we had access to anything that had that effect.

In First, I want to thank the work of Tornnight, it's really a great work.
I just want to warn you about few bugs in order to increase the quality of TLR.
--> I'm playing just with Venician and :
Each foices I'm trying to take Zagreb, with automaticaly battle or manual, the game crashes. I've tested without the "mission" what is saying me to take this city, the result is the same...
--> Crash when click on few units who are not mines : pirates, diplomats etc...
( Sorry for my bad English, I'm a French's fan and i love TLR, I've tested a lot of mod and TLR is my favorite!! ) Great work !
P.S: if you can boost beauty of French's princess it will be fair, and add a general who is named Cachou with 50 stars of commandement I'll apreciate
The stats are identical for elephants but the faction specific ones have higher morale, i suppose that works out as morale is important for elephants.
Ive occasionally encountered a chromed captain texture when using merc aquabusiers.
the problem with gunpowder units not firing only sometimes happens, it hasn't happened when the unit is in lose formation though.
Testing this i did notice that gunpowder units are quite expensive considering how ineffective they are, they could get cheaper perhaps.
The merc aquabusiers and merc Musketeers also have identical stats.
