Thread: Is The Longroad Addon Still Supported/Included?

  1. #1

Default Is The Longroad Addon Still Supported/Included?

Used to use the longroad addon with pretty skies, more blood etc,

since 1.2 i've had to reinstall everything and dling 1.9.9 TLR now

Just wondered if the "addon" still works or is included with 1.9.9?

If it does still work/no included where can we dl the addon again? seem to have lost it as well

    thanks

The features of the addon are now built into the main download.

When I release 2.0, I will have them seperate again.

alright, just loaded tlr1.9.9 up and its great, also noticed the skies etc built in

i actually prefer the addon built in, but i suppose some people's systems have a harder time with it

this new revision is like a totally new game, much closer to what i wanted MTW to be from the start

the addition of future factions and other things will be great as well

    thanks !

Probably not. Anytime I change the map, save games are incompatible.
And the map still needs work.

I don't know when 2.0 will be released. When things look stable and I'm happy with the feature set.

    1. I need to fix the major stability bugs
    2. I need the campaign selector maps and mini-maps
    3. I want to touch up some mountains.
    4. I need to balance cavalry charges.
    5. I may add some new armor and weapon ancillaries
    6. I may include an AOR for faction units.

The best way to go about it is if you're happy with the current version and it's stable for you, go ahead and play a campaign until you're finished with it.

Then upgrade to the next version for the next campaign.

Some upgrades will be compatible, but I'm planning on map changes for the next versions.

I noticed that TLR 1.9.10 is a little bit smaller than 1.9.9...Exept 1.2 patch does 1.9.9 required for 1.9.10 or is of it's own?
TGC in order to continue its development seak one or more desicated scripters to put our campaign scripts mess to an order plus to create new events and create the finall missing factions recruitment system. In return TGC will give permision to those that will help to use its material stepe by step. The result will be a fully released TGC plus many mods that will benefit TGC's material.
Despite the mod is dead does not mean that anyone can use its material

It's smaller because some of the features are now broken out into the Addon.

The Addon has the optional components.
