    Default Did scorpions mean something for the Romans?

    I´ve noticed that in the shield of most pre-marian units there is a scorpion paint. Did scorpions mean something for the Romans or is it the skin creator of RS that likes them?

    It's likely the symbol was used based upon a greek tale where: the scorpion stands for a military-like readiness -- "first strike capacity."
    It was also the favored symbol of the Praetorian Guard.

    Actually all the skins that feature the scorpion are Ferres' ones which we haven't felt the need to replace.
