    Default Venetian Archers

    If I edit the export_descr_unit.txt file to fix the Venetian Archer armor bug in the data folder in the ultimateAI folder, do you think it will cause any problems with the mod?

    There is no need to do it. If you use Ultimate AI 1.4.1 the fix is already included (due to M2TW Lite Mod), with Ultimate AI 1.5 the Real Combat mod deals with this issue.

    I was talking about the bug with the Venetian Archers displaying upgraded armor on the battle map. This bug does not seem to be fixed in UltimateAI version 1.5

    I'm sorry, I just checked it myself, and you are right: the bug is fixed in version 1.4.1 but was reintroduced by 1.5 (I'll report to Point Blank). Here the corrected file, I'll include it in next version.

    Yes it will. Why it should not? The fix only relates to the texture files used to display the armour progression.

    Well I tried fixing the Venetian Archer bug myself by switching the _ug1 for them in the .txt file when I had Clouds Across Europe installed. But afterwards, all the new Factions didn't display their proper names in the selection screen. So I thought, maybe such a change would prevent Ultimate AI from working properly.

    Nothing else was changed...but then again, Clouds Across Europe doesn't use mod switch.
