Well, bugger! I instaled everything, launched throught the ss launcer.bat icon, saw the entering screen and immediatly CTD! Tryed couple of time and always CTD.
Am I doing something wrong? How do I launch the SS 3.2?

Well I think you got trapped in the same issue below... I'm waiting for the next version ;-)

    Hi Sir Nicholas,

Welcome back! though when you start with a ctd...

Ok, as jegui mentioned, probably the same issue as his...

However, from what I've heard the majority (if not almost all) of people who get a crash before the mod even starts, havn't installed it correctly...
The most common mistake is that one (or both) installations were pointed to the wrong directory.
Normally it should be ".../programs/SEGA/Medieval II Total War".
Note that the installer of SS3.0 (and not 3.2) points to ".../programs/Medieval II Total War", unfortuantely.
So, make really sure that you install in the right directory.

btw, Sir Nicholas and jegui, are sure that you have the official 1.2 patch installed?

..btw 2: I'm just downloading 3.0 and 3.2 to confirm if the files are corrupted or not...

Yepp. That's my problem too. Will try though reinstaling 3.0 over 3.2 and than patch 3.2 again. Nothing to loose.

KK I always keep a clean MTW 2 version and use a copy for mods. I instaled at least 15 other mods in RTW or in MTW and every other mothe ****er worked except this one. I am pretty sure I instaled it right but can't grasp the CTD problem. I am playing my Europa Barbarorum campaign now and I guess I will continue. Damn, I want to try SS 3.2!

    same here

    KK,

it just came to my head, could this be related to windows registry maybe? You know different installations of patches and main file not been properly wiped out from the registry database? anyway I'll wait for a verdict

Ok, just to confirm that the files are not corrupted:
I've just deleted my mod folders, downloaded 3.0 and 3.2 from filefront, installed both programs and it works without problems.

Btw: have you seen this thread here?:

Maybe your problems are more related with the official patch...
