Need advice on my campaing

I'm playing a Greek Cities campaign and I have conquered Crete, the Pellopponessus (spell check) and I'm pinned down in southern Hellas by the Rebels and the Macedonian beast (they have already wiped out Epirus and are beginning to expand into Europe and Asia minor). So if some one could help me i would greatly appreciate it.

p.s.-I have three stacks all in forts on the isthmus

lol so much for marching your hoplites on rome

it would be much easier to help if u post a screenshot as my geography isnt particulally up to scratch

Y don't u take the west. Beat everyone around u like macedon and all. And march on rome. Take those islands ,sicily caralis all that. Try to split your fronts. Try to take out people from both sides at the same time. If u can. I usually always have 3 fronts to 4 fronts. northern southern east and west. U got to be able to split your armies on where there needed.

Also. Try to pick your fights. Cause believe me if u just march into any ones empire and think u own the place u will lose EXTREMELY QUICKLY. i did that once I marched straight in to the selecuid empire with 14 roman legions. And I never saw them again. Only 5 returned home, and those 5 legions had maybe only a thousand troops left in them each.

god damnit, my game just crashed at 270 BC. It happened when I clicked end turn and it happens every time I click end turn. It hasn't done that with any of my other campaigns. grrrrr

Have you got -show_err on the end of your command line?

Right click on your RTW shortcut (if you don't have a shortcut yet, go to your RS folder, right click on the RomeTW icon, or better the RomeTW-BI, and click create shortcut):

At the bottom you'll see "properties" - click on this - a window will open up.

If you've got BI then change the "target" to this:

"...path to your RS folder(whatever that is)...\RomeTW-BI.exe" -mod: -nm -show_err

If no BI, then just make it
"...path to your RS folder(whatever that is)...\RomeTW.exe" -nm -show_err

The path to your RS folder should already be in

I did this and it didn't do anything except for changing my RTW loading screens to the correct loading screens and it didn't show an error message like I think it is suppossed to

Go back one save if you can. A corrupt saved game can mean the end of a good campaign, so learn to save often. Then, when stuff like this happens, you can go back one saved game and not lose everything. Corrupt saved games don't happen a lot, but when they do, you should have a fall-back saved game to go to.
