You wrote that "another MODs has thousands of similar modifications and they do not take as much time in loading the screens", to which I answered to that no mod has as many modification as EB, so no mod has as large data files. Hence the game is so slow to load.

No matter what I do EB 1.1 will not install enough for me to play. Why would that be? I get to where it says Europa Barbarorum and shows the map in the backround, but then it fades off and the game quits!

you might have some files in the vanilla version that were not properly installed. try running vanilla and see if it does the same. if so then i'd suggest reinstalling vanilla.

That must be frustrating. Why don't you go ahead and tell us what you did when you installed it. If the game "fades out" on the boot up screen, then you must have completely installed it? (Or at least, you were done installing and went forward with running the game).

The only time I have had a error like that was when I was trying to install a mod over another mod that affected core files, and even then I did it on mistake by copying mod specific data to the dang vanilla directory (I know, I was confused at first also).

If it is getting to the boot screen, and you know it was completely installed on a *clean* copy of Rome: Total War than you're getting closer.

What sort of Video Card are you using?

The video card is only a few years old, so that shouldn't be a problem. A long time ago I installled 1.0 and then completely wiped it off my harddrive, and no matter what I do now, RB will not fully load. I wish That the EB crew could send me a CD with EB mixed with rome on it. That would be awesome. But back to my problem, it goes to that start screen and then it goes back to my desktop.

try dragging your rtw icon to the trash can, then select add/remove programs. then make sure, after you've deleted all of your rtw files, that there aren't any other random programs (ie. old mod files) that relate to rtw. this happened to me once, when i thought i had a "clean" version of rtw and tried to reload rtw again. when i reloaded it into the same directory name it kept the old "unclean" files.

the source is corrupted
file : EB_YUEZHI_GENERAL_TEMP.TGA.DDS

i tried 2 time 3 ,but is always the same thing ,same message

i would like to play but i cant maybe some file is corrupted ,dont know
