Mirage has been up to coding and I've been up to studies. You'll get some soon, surely. I'll hope to break in the Kingdom of jerusalem for the first time in the next few days

I did a battle between Abbasids and KoJ, myself as the KoJ. It was 'uneventful', simply in the fact that I rushed it, but it was suprising that thanks to AD's new code inspired by Real combat, the battle was harder than it used to be. I never broke 20% casualty rate in most battles, but this one got me to 42%. It was partially due to my half-assing controlling the army, and inexperience with a Crusader type of army, but it was tough, and what was especially brutal were the horse archers. You can get some good tactics against them, such as I did with two knights diverging north & south, letting the Horse archers near us then pincering them, but they are no easy feat, and considering you get only 1 foot archer and 1 horse archer (and 2 crossbowmen), this is not going to be a foe you can brush off.

I didn't really utilize my dismounted Knights. I should see how they handle, but given the fact that thanks to GrandViz I actually get -charged- by the enemy cavalry (It's sad that this almost never happened in Vanilla), I dont think they'll do that well when facing these scary charges.
