I like the changes I put in for the dismounted Latin knights. AD's done a phenomenal job on the unit coding - there are many instances where in custom battles I can actually end up being close to losing, but I decided to make the Dis. Latins more 'irregular', given the fact that knights did not train to fight on foot the way that Muslim and East Christian cavalry did.
The effect seems rather substantial - with a slightly messy formation, far more spread out than spearmen and other foot infantry, and with lower mass, their high attack and armor is offset by their inability to work in the typical way of heavy infantry (Which back in Vanilla, made them behave like anachronistic Legionaries). I think this will let them be utilized in a unique manner, not simply being awesome heavy infantry that can do everything, but rather units you use for limited, but important circumstances (Supporting foot spearmen, or fighting in a siege).
The lack of the Latin Knights on foot's kill rate is just due to me not using them. But this is more what I would hope a KoJ victory reads out like - crossbowmen and knights doing the chief fighting, then spearmen, and then men-at-arms and knights on foot. Notice how many the Latin Knights on horseback killed - 219(!). The templars didn't do so well just because I messed up in using them.
This was against the rebel stack of Antioch, which we had sieged until they sallied forth, a full stack of high experience units, but because of the AI (Much better than normal, but still poor when they sally out), I got more kills.
