Stupid mongols?

How do you make the mongols more "Urbanized" I simply want them to conquer every settlement they come over instead of just passing by rebel cities.

There isn't anything preventing them from attacking rebel cities.

There are some cities that are marked as Horde Targets which may be what they are focusing on.

Aaaah.... can you mark the whole "far" eastern part of the map as "horde targets"? And how?
Ive just seen them settleing in Baghdad, the capital of the allmighty seljuk empire. They are getting thrashed :S

You can mark such things in descr_regions.txt. Including cursade and jihad targets.

I'll take a look at the Mongols later on. If you try this, let me know how it goes.

Note: After you change that file, you need to delete map.rwm and let MTW2 regenerate it.

in the campain i'm playing they (the Mongols) have taken most of terks land, they now have a huge empire, probably 15+ settlements, my holyland empire based around Antiock was able to halt there assult (and probably save the Turks last provence which lay to the south), forcing them to head north currently holding most of the Arabia. It does take them a while to settle though, but they have a huge advantage with there full stack armies, he Turks had no chance, what with fighting me, Byzantine and poland on there western front.
