    Default your specs

    Hi All,

    I'm curious as to what pc's everone is playing RS on? I've seen a few screenshots of people battle's and they look amazing but mine is slightly below those on graphical quality (im not sure why)

    so hopefully the mods on this forum let this topic stay (ive not seen another one)

    My personal specs are:

    C2d E6600 @ 3gig
    BallistiX PC6400 2GB
    Abit AB9 Pro
    Palit 8800GTS 640Mb @ 660/1900
    Seagate Baracuda 200GB & 320GB

    your computer can easily handle everything on high detail.

    heres my specs.
    AMD athlon 2600+ processer
    2 gig ram
    ATI Radeon 660 GTO(i think) 256MB

    and i easily play on everything maxed out, including Anti aliasing etc, on large scale.

    i think what your problem may be if your not so clear is probably your resolution. the strat maps and battle maps use different resolutions, i have my battle maps at the highest resolution, you get slight slightly blurry interface but perfect sharp action where it counts.

    In this world there are two types of evil people. they are people who do evil stuff and there are people who see evil stuff happening and do nothing about it.

    And lastly, play Battlemaster

    You will have some lag with that there computer...sorry to say. But if you keep details, grass and such low, and play on 'karge' settings, you'll be OK. We've tried to keep things playable for lower end PC's.

    i have a low end pc now... coz one of my 2x 1 gb ram wracked for some weeks..

    i have got an

    amd athlon 3000+ (2 ghz)
    1 gb ram
    128 mb geforce card

    but i reduced a lot in the video settings..
    grass detail = low
    shadows = normal
    reflextions etc. = off
    vegetation detail = normal
    buildings = normal
    units = high
    effects = normal
    resolution battlemap: 1280 x 960 (32bit)
    resolution strategymap: 1024 x 768 (32bit)

    i play with normal (standard) unit size and it runs well, also with 5000-6000 troops on the field. but ill buy another 2 gb ram next aswell as i want to buy a nu gfxcard with 512 mb ram. in hope to play it near future in high details

    1 gig of ram
    Intel Pentium D CPU(2.8 GHz)
    NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GS

    I've maxed out all settings, except for the number of men in an army. It's on large right now, though I'm going to be playing on "huge" in a tad while.

    The key to getting really good graphics is to set to 32bit (seems to affect skies a lot), everything on highest especially antialiasing.

    Mine's a P4 2GHz, Nvidia GeForce 7600GS 512MB, with 2Gigs RAM

    Playing on a laptop which is about 2 years old now i think...

    AMD Turion 64 ML-28 processor 1.6Ghz
    ATI Mobility Radeon X700 PCI Express 128mb
    512MB RAM

    Not noticed any problems with lag yet but not done any really massive battle yet. Maybe about a max of 4-5k men on the field at a time at most
