In order to use alpaca's MTW2 Minimal Map, you need to do a few things.

First, go into your C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War folder (assuming you installed the game with it's default folder locations).

Create a new folder inside ..\Medieval II Total War and call it MyMod.

Now copy these folders from C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War

    - fmv
    - packs
    - preferences

Paste them into C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\MyMod

Now copy the data and text folders from alpaca's minimal map archive and put them in the same folder as the fmv, packs and preferences folder. So now you should look inside C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\MyMod and see five folders: data, fmv, packs, preference and text.

Now take the files I provide in this MyMod.zip below and put them in the C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War folder where your medieval2.exe is.

Double-click the Launch_MyMod.bat file and MTW2 will run as usual. When you come to the menu screen, select Single Player, then Campaign, select the English (as that's all he has in this minimal map) and hit Start.

When the map loads, you'll see all of it is water, except the very lower left corner is a box of land with a city and some English troops in and around it. That's the base scratch map to start with. Then I suggest you go to this thread to learn the in's and out's of creating a campaign.

    http://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=50437

This effectively takes the Aztecs out of the campaign, along with every other faction except the English. But now you can build your campaign from scratch without ever putting the Aztecs back in.

    Best of luck to you.

You should try to only add small parts of the land at once. The game has a maximum limit for the size of a region I think.

No thing is everything. Every thing is nothing.

hmmmm...look here photo..are it now ok with maximum limit for the size of a region??
    but my logs write here

    13:32:57.500 [script.err] [error] Script Error in BOR/data/world/maps/campaign/imperial_campaign/descr_strat.txt, at line 67, column 12
could not create settlement at script line 67.

but on line 67 was right..so why??

    settlement
    {
    level large_town
    67>>>> region London_Province

    year_founded 0
    population 3800
    plan_set default_set
    faction_creator england

    thats just only test.
