Outside the city of Corduba is a Moorish army ready to take what was theirs ... But it was not so easy because who was defending was as brave a captain who was not afraid to say what the Moors felt about them.

I am not saying I fear the Mongols...
It's just that I fear the Mongols.

So yea it started out with me subsidizing my Persian allies to bog the Mongols down somewhere in Persia. After that started to fail I spent all my money on improving my defences in the east, then I decided to create a forward defence in Persian (Khwarzm or whatever) territory. Eventualy I sent 3 armies to intervene, the first one was destroyed during a battle so I started to use auto resolve with the other two and I scored 2 or 3 victories before retreating and regrouping with what was left of the three armies in a single army. The retrained army wih extra units is one of the armies on the picture. I gathered 5 or so local armies, brought my army that conquered West North-Africa and Spain from Grenada, two armies that were about to intervene in North-Italy and like two armies from Constantinopel.
is about to hit the fan people

Hey guys, I have a question for you.
I'm in the process of writing an epic AAR, but it's obviously going to need a lot of pictures, so I installed FRAPS to shoot these while gaming. It worked at first, but for some reason it's stopped taking shots when I press the F10 button (to which screenshot-taking in FRAPS is assigned). I was hoping one of you might be able to tell me what's up with it, since I can't figure it out.
Alternatively, I heard there's a folder in the gamefiles somewhere that automatically saves screenshots made in-game. Where can I find this folder?
Thanks guys!
Hmm yes I see, but these files are .tga, and I won't be able to edit them easily I think. I'll try to get FRAPS working again, it showed a flicker of life just now.

Also, the Mongols ended up making the Khwarizmi their vassals, and so they sent all theirstraight at me. I stockpiled well over a million florins for this clash, and due to the difficulty settings I had, I was only able to fight Mongol elites with armies of mercenaries and pitiful levies, with some better archers. I must have raised well over 40,000 soldiers to fend them off from the Caucus mountains. I had a surplus of money, but I ran out of areas to recruit, it was quite difficult holding them off. And they killed the Cumans off, which was evil since I liked them.
Later on, Aragon betrayed me and felt the brunt of my wrath, as did Norway. Eventually the Mongols ran out of free armies, which was BULL that they kept getting so many free armies to begin with, and now I'm crushing them and trying to make the Khwarizmi my vassals as well.
Also I destroyed the Ka'aba, and the Dome of the Rock. Islam was crushed. I had a merchant monopoly on all the gold, salt, glass, spices, and some of the silver and amber.
I checked the dates on these SS. I think this particular campaign, due to the ridiculous difficulty, ended up lasting close to 150-200 hours. Byg's GR IV and RR is awhen you start out already with a large empire and only your faction leader/heir can attack, and only council members can recruit. Also, the "Leader Defied"
happened to me MANY TIMES, it was incredibly annoying. I also had the guild headquarters for merchants, explorers, thieves, assassins, swordsmiths, horse-breeding, and some others.
My trebuchet got a lucky hit here, i havent edited these images at all, the first one is somewhat broken, but its still ok

Never post any picture before so I dont know how to post them from my campaign.
Anyone can show me how to do it.
Thanks
Use the regular print screen button in game, and it will save a image at ...\Medieval II Total War\tgas
Then the only problem now is converting it to a uploadable extension, as the image is saved in .tga format - i use picassa for this, as it can open tga files just like other images, i zoom in to 100% and then right click and select copy, go to paint and paste, then save the image as a .jpg, .png or whatever and upload it.
Also, you might want to try out this for much larger and clearer quality screenshots: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=399622
