the picts

Alright, so I started playing this mod as the Picts faction and I am having a really tough time. I've already had to start over twice and I really can't figure out how to gain some significant holdings with the units they have. I go into debt immediately and try to use the starting armies to invade south, but I end up getting my ass handed to me every time. I tried expanding to the other areas in my current game, which includes Ireland and Northern France, but I'm still in debt while the Romano-British have almost completely taking my last original holding in Scotland. I always like a challenge, but this is too much for me. What is the best strategy to use while playing as them?

I played Picts ony once i think: - the only plan you must have is defeat the Roman - British and thake the Isle for yourself. And also watch out for Saxons

Yes, I know, but the Brits units are far superior and usually defeat me in battle.

hm, well, i will like to remember you folks that if picts never conquered the worls then there should be a reason

Default, Normal/Normal. Hard or Very Hard I would be gone in 2 turns .
