    Wow, who buffed the assassins? Did you do that, King, or did CA do it in the patch? They are waaaay overpowered now.

    Hi Wolfgrin,

    I didn't change any stats of the Battlefield Assassins...
    Are they really that overpowered?

    I've just looked at their stats and I found something weird indeed:
    The "unit info" shows that they have an armour value of 32!
    However, only the info shows this high armor, the actual armor value is only 16 (shield + armor + skill).
    So, I think they shouldn't be overpowered...
    I don't know if this was intended by CA or if the wrong unit info was just a mistake.

    Actually I was referring to the campaign agent assassins. Even a one-rated assassin now has a 60% chance of killing a three-piety priest or another one-rated assassin. I killed off almost the entire Mongol family of leaders with three assassins. (Need to start a new thread about the Mongols, in fact.)

    ups... I totally missunderstood that
    and well, many people wanted the assassins to be improved, and actually I improved them only slightly (since SS 2.2)but it seems that they are too strong now...

    In the vanilla game pathced to 1.1 i destoyed the moors and portuguese only with three assassins.

    Now, with patch 1.2, i could destroy all factions without moving one of my armies!!!!

    I just use assassins instead of diplomats now, the enemy tends to get the point

    I just tested this and my 3 star assasins have a 95% chance to kill priests, diplomats, and princesses. :/

    hmm, well, this is really a too high chance and judging after the other comments I think I will weaken the assassins a bit in the next patch...

    Ok, a 3 star assassin just killed my faction leader with +3 personal security. Help!

    Download the new 3.1 patch! This will help.
    Ok, it won't bring back your faction leader but this shouldn't happen again...

    wow.. REALLY? must have been the leaked patch, well, its a LEAKED patch after all, i guess it has some bugs.

    I totally agree, is something I was going to tell you as well. If at least the AI would also use them more.
    They have never even tried to assasinate any of my characters.
    They are way too powerful (though Imams/priests and merchants should still be killed easier then vanilla)

    i saw b4, AI murdered one of my general, just once tho. Pretty rare, ya, they should probably use them more

    Do you mean in SS 3.0 or in 3.1?
    I know that the assassins were too powerful in 3.0, but I find the assassins have pretty reasonable chances to kill a character in the newest version...
